The Learning hive: Piata

On Wednesday Night (June the 16th)Piata visited Mason's house.
When we got home from school Piata and I went outside and played on the tramp with Coby and Brooke. then we went inside to play with my toys. Piata was just the right size to sit on my toy motorbike. I think Piata thought that was pretty cool. When it was time for bed Piata slept in my bed in his bag. In the morning we had weetbix for breakfast and got ready for school.
I really enjoyed having Piata over to play.

On June the 15th Piata went home with Cejevah. This is what they got up to.
Me and Piata read a story he enjoyed it. We taught him lessons to enjoy playing with kids and safety.Then me and Piata fed the fish. I said "there names are Whetu and Marama. We gave him some BBQ chips to eat because he was hungry. After those chips he felt thirsty so we gave him a drink of water. He was very tied so we put him in his bag and put him on the chair so he can be in the sun. We sang him a song from my old Kohanga and showed him my sisters names Kelis, Kessa ad Cypress.

On June the 9th Piata went to stay with Coby.Piata was very excited about staying with Coby because Coby has only just started school.

When I got home Piata and I got something to est and then we went outside and bounced on the trampoline. Then it was my sister Brooke's turn so we hopped off and had a ride on my bike. Piata sat on the handle bars.
It started to get cold outside so we went inside and played with my trio blocks. At tea time I had a bath. Piata sat and watched then I got into my PJ's and got ready for bed. Piata slept in his bag in my bed. I think he got a bit squashed.
In the morning we had weetbix for breakfast and a milo and got ready for school.
It was fun having Piata stay the night.

Today (June 9th) Piata went to the ocean alive show with us. He really liked looking at the ugly fish and couldn't believe that there really are fish that look like that. He also enjoyed learning about the different fish that have shells around them. He was surprised to learn that some species of seahorse are vulnerable to extinction.

Piata then got thinking and was wondering if Pukeko are near extinction?

For Queens birthday weekend Piata went home with Mrs Robertson. He was very
excited to meet her family. When he arrived Natasha showed him around and introduced him to the cat named 'kitty'. Piata enjoyed playing with 'kitty' and sharing kitty's dinner. After a while he became tied as he had a long day at school learning with room 12 so Natasha tucked him into bed.

On Friday we took Piata shopping in Palmerston North. He was very chatty on the trip over. He enjoyed his hot chocolate at the chocolate shop once he had decided what kind he wanted. After a long shopping he was rather tied so went home to bed.

On Saturday Piata meet the gold fish. He was really interested in looking at them. He then played with Natasha.

For the rest of the weekend Piata had a quite time watching TV and playing on the computer. He also visited Mrs Robertson's Mum.

Joshua has been teaching Piata about the letter 'b'.

Piata stayed a night with Joshua.

His family all thought Piata was great and very well behaved. Josh took real good care of him until Piata decided to play hide and go seek under the bed.

Piata had so much fun with Arnakah he decided that he would spend a night at Georgia's home.

Piata went on the trampoline and he went on the swing. I took Piata home and he had pizza for tea.He had donuts and ice cream for pudding too. Piata and I snuggled in my bed all night long.

Piata then thought it would be neat to meet Arnakahs family.
Today Piata came home with me. We had so much fun together. we played dress ups, played on the tramp, and Pita got pushed around in my toy car. then we had a milo together. At 5oclock we went for a walk to pick Leticia up from her friends house. We all had fish and chips for dinner. I shared mine with Piata. Now it is bed time. Me and my family had fun with Piata today.

On Tuesday the 11th of May Piata asked if he could go home with Jay. This is what Jay wrote about what they got up to.
I took Piata home with me and helped Dad do the dishes. Then we played PlayStation.It was cool having Piata at my house.

On Monday the 10th of May Piata asked Javae if he could stay at her house for the night.This is Javaes story about what her and Piata did.
I took Piata home with me and we helped Mum cook tea and bake a cake for my cousins birthday. Then we helped Mum give my brother a bath. I enjoyed having Piata meet my family.

Today Wednesday the 12th of May Piata sat with Liam. Liam taught him how to sit on the mat quietly.

We also had a preschool visit today. We showed Coby and Mason around the school. We showed them our garden. Piata helped us show them around and water our veges.
