Mystery Reader

In room 12 we have began our mystery reader. Someone is invited in to read to us and we have no idea who is coming in. We really enjoy having a mystery reader. 
Last Friday Ms O'Conner came into read to us.

Certificates

On Tuesday in junior assembly Ella and Lilly received certificates for sounding out words in their writing.

Financial Literacy

Today we had Ewen from ASB bank come and talk to us about financial Literacy. We learnt about what a need and want is. He also said to us if we want some thing we could ask our parents if we could do a job to earn some money. Ewen also told us about the different money we have in New Zealand.

Gian's Birthday

Last week Thursday it was Gian's birthday. His mum brought in lots of yummy birthday food to share with us and a delicious birthday cake.
As we have been learning to use photo story Capri made a photo story about Gian's class birthday party.
