Mr Ray

Last term we had Mr Ray come and visit us from Pennsylvania. We enjoyed having Mr Ray and showing him what we do at  our school.

Duffy Books

Trayvond, Lilly and Lovey all received  a Duffy book in school assembly. Well done

Ordering numbers

We have been learning to ordering numbers from 0-10 or numbers to 20. We were given a clown to colour and balloons with numbers. When we had finished colouring our numbers we had to cut them out and put them in order.

Certificates

Ella received a certificate in junior assembly for great maths work. Ella knows all the numbers to 10 before and after and can order them.

Rajveet Received a certificate in junior assembly for great writing. He wrote a story by himself and he used words he knew and wrote the sounds of words he didn't know.

Caterpillar

Over the past few weeks we have been watching our caterpillars grow, turn into a chrysalis then turn into a butterfly. We have learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly and we have been reading the 'hungry caterpillar'. 

The Jigaree

We read the big book 'The Jigaree' by Joy Cowley. With Mrs Derby we drew our own Jigaree. We think they are pretty neat.
