Gingerbread Man

During our last week at school we listened to the gingerbread man story. 

We also got to make gingerbread men biscuits. They were delicious.

Swimming

Today the junior school went for a trip to the splash center. Some of us went on the hydro slide which was a lot of fun. We had a great time at the splash center.

Wellington Zoo

Last Friday we went  for a trip to the Wellington Zoo. when we got to the zoo we learnt about the difference between a mammal and a reptile. We go to touch a rat and a lizard. We saw bear, tigers, monkeys, giraffes, kangaroos, baboons, mere cat and a lot of other animals. We had a great day at the zoo.

Athletics

Today we had our Junior athletics. We had 5 different activities to do. We started with the vortex throw, then we did long jump and mini hurdles. We then went to the sack race and then off to the sprints. Unfortunately it started to rain so we didn't get to do the egg and spoon race. We had a lot of fun doing each of the activities.

Week 7 Certificates

This week 4 people received certificates in junior assembly. Congratulations.
